Home Alone is back baby! Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) faces off against Harry (Joe Pesci) and Marv (Daniel Stern) in this classic 90’s reboot sequel!i
This is not a real trailer. It’s a parody concept. That means it’s not real. It was created by splicing together existing content, adding voiceovers, effects work, and heavy editing.
Home Alone is a 1990 American Christmas comedy film directed by Chris Columbus and written and produced by John Hughes. The first film in the Home Alone franchise, the film stars Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern, John Heard, and Catherine O’Hara. Culkin plays Kevin McCallister, a boy who defends his suburban Chicago home from a home invasion by a pair of robbers after his family accidentally leaves him behind on their Christmas vacation to Paris.
Hughes conceived Home Alone while on vacation, with Warner Bros. being originally intended to finance and distribute the film. However, Warner Bros. shut down production after it exceeded its assigned budget. 20th Century Fox assumed responsibilities following secret meetings with Hughes. Columbus and Culkin were hired soon afterwards. Filming took place between February and May 1990 on location across Illinois.
Home Alone premiered in Chicago on November 10, 1990, and was theatrically released in the United States on November 16. While the film’s reception was initially mixed, in later years reception has been generally positive, with praise for its cast, humor, and music.
Home Alone grossed $476.7 million worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing live-action comedy until the release of The Hangover Part II (2011), and made Culkin a child star. Moreover, it was the second-highest-grossing film of 1990, behind Ghost.[3]
It was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, and Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for Culkin, and for the Academy Award for Best Original Score for John Williams, and Best Original Song for “Somewhere in My Memory”.
Home Alone has since been considered one of the best Christmas films.[4][5] A sequel, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, was released in 1992.

Performance:
The cast delivers strong performances, with the actors effectively portraying the emotional weight of their characters. Sean Bean’s performance as James is particularly notable for capturing the character’s inner turmoil and desperation.
Horror Elements:

The film’s horror elements are both psychological and physical, with plenty of disturbing moments that will satisfy fans of the genre.
Critique:
While the film succeeds in creating a chilling atmosphere and staying true to the game’s essence, some critics argue that it struggles with pacing and coherence at times. The narrative may be confusing for those unfamiliar with the game’s backstory, and certain plot points might seem disjointed.

SHANG-CHI 2: Wreckage Of Time Teaser (2024)
Outside of Liu, no other cast members have yet been confirmed for Shang-Chi 2. It’s assumed that actors such as Awkwafina and Meng’er Zhang will be back for the sequel. Destin Daniel Cretton, who helmed the first installment, has been confirmed to direct Shang-Chi 2.
The sequel is part of Cretton’s overall deal with Marvel Studios, as he is also developing a MCU show for Disney+ Shang-Chi 2 has been confirmed to happen, but Marvel Studios has yet to give it a release date.Phase 5 is already packed as is with several upcoming films and shows. But there is the chance that Shang-Chi 2 may be one of the unannounced Phase 6 projects.
If not in Phase 6, Shang-Chi 2 may not be happening until Phase 7 at the earliest. Cretton is also directing Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, hence the lack of progression on Shang-Chi 2.
Even if Shang-Chi 2 is delayed till Phase 7, it feels safe to say the hero will be part of Phases 5-6 in some capacity. It’d be shocking if Shang-Chi doesn’t take part in the two upcoming Avengers films.Given Cretton’s Avengers: The Kang Dynasty involvement, it would make sense for Liu to be back for that film. Hopefully, Marvel Studios will provide updates about Shang-Chi 2 later this year.

THUNDERBOLTS (2024)
The Thunderbolts are a fictional antihero team appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The team consists mostly of reformed supervillains. The Thunderbolts first appeared in The Incredible Hulk #449 (January 1997) and were created by Kurt Busiek and Mark Bagley.
The Thunderbolts were first presented, both to readers and to the Marvel Universe, as a group of super-powered figures who became heroes to help protect the world when the Avengers were declared dead after the events of the 1996 “Onslaught” crossover.
The final page of the first issue of their comic book, however, revealed that the Thunderbolts were actually the Masters of Evil in disguise, a surprise twist carefully guarded by Marvel.
In subsequent storylines, the group rejects their leader Baron Helmut Zemo and attempts to become heroes in their own right, eventually under the leadership of the Avenger Hawkeye. Themes of redemption and the nature of heroism are often featured in Thunderbolts comics.
The book has also garnered critical praise for its use of secondary characters from other Marvel Comics and its use of continuity-themed storytelling.
The Thunderbolts was an original concept created for Marvel by Busiek and Bagley. Most of the characters used in the final concept were reimagined versions of existing Marvel characters, with additional original characters for the series developed by Busiek and designed by Bagley. The pair also created the new heroic identities for the Masters of Evil.
