The film takes place in a quiet suburban neighborhood during the summer of 1984. The story follows Davey Armstrong (Graham Verchere), a 15-year-old boy who is spending his summer vacation hanging out with his three best friends: the sarcastic and adventurous Dale (Caleb Emery), the nerdy but resourceful Woody (Cory Grüter-Andrew), and the charming but slightly rebellious Curtis (Judah Lewis).
