Bait (2012)

In Bait (2012), director Kimble Rendall delivers a thrilling and pulse-pounding survival horror that combines natural disaster terror with bloodthirsty predators. This shark-infested nightmare traps its characters in a fight for survival as nature’s deadliest forces collide in the most unlikely of places—a flooded supermarket.

The Story: A Disaster Turns into a Feeding Frenzy
In a peaceful coastal town in Australia, life takes a horrifying turn when a massive tsunami crashes ashore, swallowing everything in its path. As the water surges through the city, a group of strangers—employees, shoppers, and even a pair of armed robbers—find themselves trapped inside a submerged supermarket.
But drowning isn’t the worst of their problems. Lurking beneath the floodwaters are 12-foot-long, bloodthirsty great white sharks, drawn to the chaos and now hunting the survivors. With the exits blocked, the water rising, and no rescue in sight, the survivors must outthink, outmaneuver, and outlast the apex predators stalking them.
Tension rises as selfishness, desperation, and fear turn the survivors against one another. Every decision becomes a matter of life or death—stay still and risk drowning, or make a move and become the next meal. As supplies dwindle and the sharks grow bolder, the survivors must band together to find a way out before it’s too late.

Why This Film Will Keep You on the Edge of Your Seat:
A Unique and Thrilling Premise – A tsunami-survival-meets-shark-horror concept that delivers both natural disaster tension and terrifying predator action.
Heart-Pounding Suspense – The constant threat of the unseen lurking just beneath the surface keeps the tension razor-sharp.
Gruesome Kills & Bloody Carnage – Brutal and shocking shark attacks, leaving no one safe.
A Battle Against Nature – As if surviving a tsunami wasn’t terrifying enough, the characters must now outsmart deadly great whites in an enclosed space.

“The water is rising. The sharks are hunting. And time is running out.”
With its intense survival horror, terrifying shark encounters, and a high-stakes fight against time, Bait (2012) is a thrill ride of terror that keeps you hooked from start to finish. Do you have what it takes to survive the hunt?
