Predator is a 1987 American science fiction action film directed by John McTiernan and written by brothers Jim and John Thomas. It is the first installment in the Predator franchise.

It stars Arnold Schwarzenegger as the leader of an elite paramilitary rescue team on a mission to save hostages in guerrilla-held territory in a Central American rainforest, who encounter the deadly Predator (Kevin Peter Hall), a technologically advanced alien who stalks and hunts them down.

Predator was written in 1984 under the working title of Hunter. Filming ran from March to June 1986 with creature effects devised by Stan Winston; the budget was around $15 million.

20th Century Fox released the film on June 12, 1987, in the United States, where it grossed $98.3 million. Initial reviews were mixed, but the film has since been reappraised as a classic of the action genre.

The success of Predator spawned a media franchise of films, novels, comic books, video games, and toys. It spawned three direct sequels: Predator 2 (1990), Predators (2010) and The Predator (2018), and an upcoming installment in preproduction.

A crossover with the Alien franchise produced the Alien vs. Predator films, which include Alien vs. Predator (2004) and Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem (2007).

Behind Enemy Lines

“Behind Enemy Lines” (2001) is a war drama film directed by John Moore, starring Owen Wilson and Gene Hackman. The story centers on Lieutenant Chris Burnett (Owen Wilson), a naval aviator who becomes stranded in hostile territory after his reconnaissance plane is shot down over Bosnia.

The film unfolds as Burnett and his pilot, Stackhouse (Gabriel Macht), conduct a routine reconnaissance mission over enemy territory. When their plane is detected and shot down by Serbian forces, the two men eject and land in different locations. Stackhouse is quickly captured and executed by Serbian soldiers, while Burnett narrowly escapes into the dense forest.

Now alone and hunted by the enemy, Burnett must evade capture and navigate his way through dangerous terrain to reach safety. Meanwhile, Admiral Reigart (Gene Hackman), Burnett’s commanding officer, disregards orders to leave Burnett behind and launches a covert rescue mission to retrieve him.

As Burnett races against time, he faces numerous challenges, including harsh weather conditions, enemy patrols, and the relentless pursuit of a Serbian tracker. The film explores themes of survival, bravery, and the sacrifices made in the line of duty, highlighting the resilience and determination of a soldier trapped behind enemy lines.

“Behind Enemy Lines” is known for its intense action sequences, suspenseful plot, and gripping portrayal of wartime survival. Owen Wilson delivers a notable performance outside of his typical comedic roles, portraying the resourceful and resilient Lieutenant Burnett. Gene Hackman adds depth to the film with his portrayal of Admiral Reigart, a seasoned military leader determined to bring his pilot home.

Overall, “Behind Enemy Lines” offers a compelling mix of military drama and thrilling suspense, making it a memorable entry in the genre of war films. It captures the adrenaline-fueled struggle of one man’s fight for survival behind enemy lines and the unwavering loyalty of those who risk everything to bring him home.

The Babadook 2

Fans of horror cinema have a new reason to celebrate as the highly anticipated teaser trailer for “The Babadook 2” has been released. Set to hit theaters in 2024, this sequel promises to deliver even more spine-chilling scares and psychological horror than its predecessor.

“The Babadook 2” picks up years after the events of the first film, where Amelia and her son Samuel battled the sinister creature from a mysterious children’s book. The new teaser hints at a return of the terrifying entity, suggesting that the nightmare is far from over. As shadows loom and eerie whispers fill the air, it becomes clear that the Babadook is back with a vengeance.

Beetlejuice 2

Warner Bros. has revealed the official title of Beetlejuice 2, which makes it far too tempting to avoid turning it into a trilogy. Finally arriving 36 years after the original movie, Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice 2 is scheduled for release on September 6, 2024, just in time for the spooky atmosphere of fall. In addition to Burton returning as the director, the long-awaited sequel brings back original actors Michael Keaton (Beetlejuice), Winona Ryder (Lydia Deetz), and Catherine O’Hara (Delia Deetz), with Jenna Ortega and Willem Dafoe joining the franchise in new roles. After months of anticipation, Warner Bros. has confirmed that the sequel is titled Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.

No, this title doesn’t mean there will be two Beetlejuices. The name comes from the 1988 film’s phrase for summoning (and banishing) Michael Keaton’s titular poltergeist, offering some clever wordplay for the upcoming Tim Burton movie. While it took 35 years after the original Beetlejuice to finally get a sequel announcement, the 2024 horror-comedy’s new title suggests that Beetlejuice 3 could secretly already be in the works.

Vin Diesel Says The Last Witch Hunter 2

The modern world holds many secrets, but by far the most astounding is that witches still live among us; vicious supernatural creatures intent on unleashing the Black Death upon the world and putting an end to the human race once and for all.

Armies of witch hunters have battled this unnatural enemy for centuries, including Kaulder, a valiant warrior who many years ago slayed the all-powerful WITCH QUEEN, decimating her followers in the process.

In the moments right before her death, the Queen cursed KAULDER with immortality, forever separating him from his beloved wife and daughter. Today, Kaulder is the last living hunter who has spent his immortal life tracking down rogue witches, all the while yearning for his long-lost family.

However, unbeknownst to Kaulder, the Witch Queen has been resurrected and seeks revenge on her killer, leading to an epic battle that will determine the survival of mankind.

As of now, there is no official release or production of “The Last Witch Hunter 2.” There have been rumors and talks about a sequel, especially considering the first film’s potential for expanding the story.

Vin Diesel, who starred in the original film, has expressed interest in continuing the character’s journey.

The original movie, The Last Witch Hunter (2015), is a dark fantasy action film that follows Kaulder, an immortal witch hunter played by Vin Diesel, who must prevent a powerful witch from unleashing a plague on humanity.

Despite a promising premise and some visually interesting action scenes, the film received mixed reviews for its predictable plot and underdeveloped characters.

If a sequel were to be made, fans would hope to see improvements in character development, storytelling, and a deeper exploration of the film’s dark magical universe.

TERMINATOR 7: End Of War Teaser (2025)

The Terminator is a 1984 American science fiction action thriller film directed by James Cameron. It stars Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator, a cyborg assassin sent back in time from 2029 to 1984 to kill Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton), whose unborn son will one day save mankind from extinction by a hostile artificial intelligence in a post-apocalyptic future. Michael Biehn plays Kyle Reese, a soldier sent back in time to protect Sarah. The screenplay is credited to Cameron and producer Gale Anne Hurd, while co-writer William Wisher Jr. received a credit for additional dialogue.

Cameron devised the premise of the film from a fever dream he experienced during the release of his first film, Piranha II: The Spawning (1982), in Rome, and developed the concept in collaboration with Wisher. He sold the rights to the project to fellow New World Pictures alumna Hurd on the condition that she would produce the film only if he were to direct it; Hurd eventually secured a distribution deal with Orion Pictures, while executive producers John Daly and Derek Gibson of Hemdale Film Corporation were instrumental in setting up the film’s financing and production.

Originally approached by Orion for the role of Reese, Schwarzenegger agreed to play the title character after befriending Cameron. Filming, which took place mostly at night on location in Los Angeles, was delayed because of Schwarzenegger’s commitments to Conan the Destroyer (1984), during which Cameron found time to work on the scripts for Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985) and Aliens (1986). The film’s special effects, which included miniatures and stop-motion animation, were created by a team of artists led by Stan Winston and Gene Warren Jr.
Defying low pre-release expectations, The Terminator topped the United States box office for two weeks, eventually grossing $78.3 million against a modest $6.4 million budget. It is credited with launching Cameron’s film career and solidi

SPIDER-MAN 4: NEW HOME 2024

Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man makes his Marvel Cinematic Universe return in a Spider-Man 4 theory, and if it turns out to be accurate, Marvel Studios would have one of the franchise’s most emotional projects on its hands.

Marvel’s slate of projects includes several exciting movies and series, with entries like The Fantastic Four, the next two Avengers movies, and Spider-Man 4 drawing the most attention. Given how Tom Holland’s first MCU Spider-Man trilogy is among the franchise’s best, it makes sense that anticipation is high for the return of his version of Peter Parker.

Every single one of Holland’s Spider-Man movies has featured a major role for an MCU character. That is part of the deal Sony and Marvel Studios made so that Holland’s Spider-Man could be part of the MCU while Sony still holds the character’s movie rights. Spider-Man: Homecoming featured Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man as Peter Parker’s mentor, continuing their relationship from Captain America: Civil War.

Due to the hero’s death in Avengers: Endgame, Tony Stark was missing from Holland’s other Spider-Man movies. However, an MCU theory shows the perfect way for Iron Man to be part of Spider-Man 4’s story.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is a 2021 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man, co-produced by Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios, and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing. It is the sequel to Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) and the 26th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
The film is directed by Jon Watts, written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, and stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man, alongside Samuel L. Jackson, Zendaya, Cobie Smulders, Jon Favreau, J. B. Smoove, Jacob Batalon, Martin Starr, Marisa Tomei, and Jason Momoa.
Spider-Man is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer-editor Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko, he first appeared in the anthology comic book Amazing Fantasy #15 (August 1962) in the Silver Age of Comic Books. He has been featured in comic books, television shows, films, video games, novels, and plays.
Spider-Man’s secret identity is Peter Benjamin Parker, a teenage high school student and an orphan raised by his Aunt May and Uncle Ben in New York City after his parents Richard and Mary Parker died in a plane crash. Lee and Ditko had the character deal with the struggles of adolescence and financial issues and gave him many supporting characters, such as Flash Thompson, J. Jonah Jameson, and Harry Osborn; romantic interests Gwen Stacy, Mary Jane Watson, and the Black Cat; and enemies such as the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, and Venom.
In his origin story, Spider-Man gets his superhuman spider-powers and abilities after being bitten by a radioactive spider; these include superhuman strength, agility, reflexes, stamina, durability, coordination, and balance, clinging to surfaces and ceilings like a spider, and detecting danger with his precognition ability called “spider-sense”.
He builds wrist-mounted “web-shooter” devices that shoot artificial spider-webs of his own design, which he uses both for fighting and for web-swinging across the city. Peter Parker originally used his powers for his own personal gain, but after his Uncle Ben was killed by a thief that Peter could not stop, he began to use his powers to fight crime by becoming Spider-Man.
When Spider-Man first appeared in the early 1960s, teenagers in superhero comic books were usually relegated to the role of sidekick to the protagonist. The Spider-Man comic series broke ground by featuring Peter Parker, a high school student from Queens, New York, as Spider-Man’s secret identity, whose “self-obsessions with rejection, inadequacy, and loneliness” were issues to which young readers could relate.[8]
While Spider-Man was a quintessential sidekick, unlike previous teen heroes Bucky Barnes and Robin, Spider-Man had no superhero mentor like Captain America and Batman; he had learned the lesson for himself that “with great power comes great responsibility”—a line included in a text box in the final panel of the first Spider-Man’s origin story, but later retroactively attributed to the late Uncle Ben Parker.

THE DEVIL CONSPIRACY

Hell shall come to Earth.” Samuel Goldwyn Films has released the full trailer for a sci-fi horror film called The Devil Conspiracy, which is set to hit theaters in mid-January. They’re hoping this one will be one of the big horror releases in January, since it’s always that time of the year when not-that-great movies can end up becoming hits. The plot involves a biotech company creating a technique to clone the greatest minds and figures from history. However, the company is run by a cabal of Satanists whose ultimate goal is to resurrect Lucifer himself.

They plan to do this by offering up Jesus once they’ve cloned him from a sample of his DNA found on his shroud. Let the religious battles ensue. The film stars Alice Orr-Ewing, Joe Doyle, Eveline Hall, Peter Mensah, Joe Anderson, Brian Caspe, and James Faulkner. This looks so hyper-stylized, with so many epic costumes it almost seems like an Asylum creation. This is an awful trailer, my goodness.

DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN (2024)

Marvel’s Daredevil, or simply Daredevil, is an American television series created by Drew Goddard for the streaming service Netflix, based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name.

It is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), sharing continuity with the franchise’s films, and is the first in a series of shows leading up to The Defenders crossover miniseries.

The series is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios, with DeKnight Productions for the first season and Goddard Textiles for the first and second seasons.

Steven S. DeKnight served as showrunner for the first season, with Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez taking over for the second season, and Erik Oleson joined the series as showrunner for its third season; Goddard served as a consultant on the series.

Charlie Cox portrays Matt Murdock/Daredevil, a blind lawyer by day who fights crime as a masked vigilante by night. Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Rosario Dawson, and Vincent D’Onofrio also star, with Toby Leonard Moore, Vondie Curtis-Hall, Bob Gunton, and Ayelet Zurer joining them for the first season, Jon Bernthal, Élodie Yung, and Stephen Rider joining the cast for the second season, and Joanne Whalley, Jay Ali, and Wilson Bethel joining for the third season.

Daredevil entered development in late 2013, a year after the character’s film rights reverted to Marvel, and Goddard was initially hired in December 2013.

DeKnight replaced him as showrunner, and Cox was hired to star in May 2014. Filming took place in New York City, in areas that still resembled the old Hell’s Kitchen.

All episodes of the first season were released on Netflix on April 10, 2015, while the second season was released in its entirety on March 18, 2016. They received positive reviews. In July 2016, the series was renewed for a third season, which premiered on October 19, 2018.

A spin-off series, focusing on Bernthal’s character Frank Castle / Punisher, was ordered and titled The Punisher.

Tomorrow War 2

McKay confirmed that a script is in the works, with writer Zach Dean returning. The sequel aims to expand the world of time travel and explore the origin of the alien species, the White Spikes.
