This is the painful moment when an abandoned four-year-old puppy understands her family has abandoned her and she will not return. ‘Electra,’ a pit bull, was surrendered to the Inland Valley Humane Society in Pomona, California.

Her heartbrokenly peering regretfully through her cage before looking down to the ground is captured in this touching video.

Lolys Menchaka, a local woman who helps shelter animals find new homes, shared the video on Facebook.

Lolis stated,

“In the shelters, Electra symbolizes the face of misery and reality.”

She stated, ”

“Sometimes I’d want to understand owners who give up their animals and I don’t want to criticize them, but I can’t comprehend it when you see how the dogs arrive to the reception with their happy smiles and they’re all standing proud.”

People’s hearts were shattered as they witnessed the poor puppy suffer from her family’s desertion in Electra’s video, which has over a million and a half views.

“This is driving me insane. Those are some serious eyes. She’s terrified. With a wag of her tail, she expresses her dissatisfaction with her She still desires to be loved. Dogs are incredibly unselfish.”

Fortunately, Electra’s fortunes turned around. Tiffany Tan, the creator of JL Rescue, was ultimately instrumental in saving Electra’s life.

Electra was rescued and adopted by her new family.
Tiffany stated, ”

“She hadn’t bitten anyone,” says the narrator. They had only taken her to the shelter. She was inconsolably sad. “I believe they understand they’ve been abandoned at times and give up.”

Tiffany’s friend Adriane Silvano offered to take her in as a foster child, and another JL Rescue worker came to pick her up from the shelter.

Electra is overjoyed, and Tiffany, who has been rescuing dogs for more than seven years, is relieved. Electra’s makeover astounded her.

Tiffany stated, ”

“He transformed into an entirely new dog. He was content, he was on the sofa, and he desired to be cuddled. She was the kindest person I’d ever met.”

“It doesn’t appear like the same dog if you compare the ‘before’ and ‘after’ photographs.”

And what began as Electra’s foster home became into her permanent residence.

“She was adopted by my buddy because she fell in love with her. She is a fantastic dog. She is nice and affectionate, with no signs of violence. She is quite courteous. She adores other canines. She is a huge fan of kids. “She’s fantastic.”
