Sean O’Malley is leading a new movement in the UFC, forging strong ties with influencers and enhancing his reputation in the process. Recently, he unveiled his ambitious plan for the “Suga Show Fighting Championships” (SSFC), an exclusive event tailored specifically for influencers.

O’Malley’s vision is to offer influencers an authentic fight experience without the typical high stakes and risks associated with professional bouts. He aims to recruit individuals with minimal combat experience and set up matches that will allow them to feel the adrenaline and intensity of stepping into the ring.

Taking to X, O’Malley shared his enthusiasm:
“Suga Show Fighting Championships! We’re launching it this year. I’m on the lookout for influencers with little to no experience. The idea is to give them a fight date to anticipate, letting them feel all the emotions leading up to the event. I don’t want anyone to get hurt or knocked out; I just want them to experience what it’s like to fight.”
He further elaborated on the format of the matches:
“We’ll do three, two-minute rounds, and we can agree on whether it’s boxing, MMA, or kickboxing. Safety is my top priority. I just want them to feel the thrill of a fight—the walkout and all that. It’ll be an awesome experience. So, who should we pit against each other? Let’s hear your suggestions, like Sara Saffari versus who? Start dropping your ideas!”
Excitement around the SSFC grew when popular streamer Adin Ross accepted a challenge from Sketch, potentially making this matchup a highlight of the event.
Fans have been buzzing about O’Malley’s plan to host four or five test matches in his warehouse as a precursor to the SSFC. He’s also encouraging fans to propose exciting matchups, sparking a wave of reactions. Jake Paul chimed in with a suggestion:
“Derek from Betr Media.”
Other fans expressed their interest:
“Can I fight that punk Derek from Betr for disrespecting the Diaz Boys?”
“Let’s get some crypto guys involved. Count me in!”
“I’d watch Sara Saffari take on Steiny. My money’s on Sara!”
O’Malley’s initiative is shaping up to be an intriguing blend of sports and entertainment, promising a fun and unique experience for all involved.
