Chris Eubank Jr. Reveals Shocking Talks for Fight with Conor McGregor After Wild Night Out in Dubai

Chris Eubank Jr. has made headlines by revealing that he has had discussions about a potential boxing match with UFC star Conor McGregor, following a “crazy” night out in Dubai.
Eubank, who is set to return to the ring on October 12 in Saudi Arabia against Kamil Szeremeta, opened up about his memorable night with McGregor during a recent interview with DAZN. The middleweight boxer’s Instagram photos, including one where he and McGregor pose with their fists up, prompted the discussion about their night out.
“It was a crazy night in Dubai, and Conor was very drunk,” Eubank shared. “We had a fantastic time, and interestingly, there have been talks about me and him actually having a boxing match at some point. Fans are eager to see that matchup, and it’s definitely something I’m open to exploring.”
At 36, McGregor previously put his UFC career on hold in 2017 to take on boxing legend Floyd Mayweather, suffering a loss in ten rounds. Eubank, 35, was part of Mayweather’s training camp during that time and received praise from McGregor for his skills.
Eubank’s last fight took place in September 2023, where he stopped Liam Smith in ten rounds during their rematch, following a defeat in their first encounter earlier that year. Meanwhile, McGregor has been out of action since 2021 after suffering a broken leg in the octagon. His planned return against Michael Chandler in June was canceled due to a toe injury.
In recent weeks, McGregor also disclosed that boxing champion Terence Crawford turned down a unique two-fight deal that involved both boxing and MMA.
With the possibility of a Eubank-McGregor matchup on the horizon, fans are buzzing with anticipation for what could be a thrilling showdown between two of the sport’s biggest names.
