It, directed by Andy Muschietti, is a horror film based on Stephen King’s novel of the same name. Set in the small town of Derry, Maine, the story revolves around a group of children known as the Losers’ Club who confront a malevolent entity that takes the form of Pennywise the Dancing Clown (Bill Skarsgård).
The film begins with Georgie, the younger brother of Bill Denbrough (Jaeden Martell), disappearing under mysterious circumstances. 
As Bill and his friends Richie (Finn Wolfhard), Eddie (Jack Dylan Grazer), and Stanley (Wyatt Oleff), among others, investigate Georgie’s disappearance, they uncover a history of disappearances and tragedies in Derry linked to an ancient evil that resurfaces every 27 years.
