The survivors include Carolyn Fry (Radha Mitchell), the ship’s docking pilot; Johns (Cole Hauser), a law enforcement officer; Imam (Keith David), a Muslim preacher; Jack (Rhiana Griffith), a young girl posing as a boy; and Riddick, a dangerous convict with surgically modified eyes that allow him to see in the dark.

The group must work together to find a way to escape the planet before the eclipse occurs. Tensions run high as they realize they must rely on Riddick’s unique abilities to survive the darkness. Despite his criminal background and the distrust he faces from the others, Riddick proves to be a valuable asset, using his night vision and survival skills to help navigate the dangerous terrain.
