Jack the Giant Slayer, originally titled Jack the Giant Killer, is a 2013 American fantasy adventure film helmed by Bryan Singer and scripted by Darren Lemke, Christopher McQuarrie, and Dan Studney, adapted from a tale by Lemke and David Dobkin.

Drawing from British folklore, specifically “Jack the Giant Killer” and “Jack and the Beanstalk,” the movie features Nicholas Hoult, Eleanor Tomlinson, Stanley Tucci, Ian McShane, Bill Nighy, Eddie Marsan, and Ewan McGregor. The narrative follows Jack, a young farmhand who, inadvertently opening a portal to their sky realm, embarks on a quest to rescue a princess from a race of giants.
