Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation” (2015) is the fifth film in the “Mission: Impossible” series, directed by Christopher McQuarrie and starring Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt.
The plot centers around Ethan Hunt and his team from the Impossible Mission Force (IMF), who are disbanded by the government. Hunt discovers the existence of a shadowy international organization known as the Syndicate, which is dedicated to creating a new world order through terrorism and covert operations.
As Hunt goes rogue to investigate the Syndicate, he is pursued by both the CIA and the Syndicate’s operatives. The film follows his attempts to prove the Syndicate’s existence and thwart their plans, all while facing numerous challenges and high-stakes missions. Alongside him are familiar allies, including Benji Dunn (Simon Pegg) and Luther Stickell (Ving Rhames), and new allies like Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson), a skilled British agent with a mysterious agenda.
