“Big Legend” is a 2018 independent action-horror film directed by Justin Lee. The film stars Kevin Makely, Todd A. Robinson, Summer Spiro, and horror icon Lance Henriksen. The film combines elements of creature feature and survival thriller genres, set against the rugged backdrop of the Pacific Northwest.
The story follows Tyler Laird (Kevin Makely), an army veteran who embarks on a solo expedition into the wilderness of the Pacific Northwest. His mission is personal and deeply rooted in tragedy: a year earlier, his fiancée Natalie (Summer Spiro) mysteriously disappeared during a camping trip in the same area.
Haunted by the memory of Natalie and determined to uncover the truth, Tyler sets out into the dense forest, driven by a mix of grief and the need for closure. As he delves deeper into the wilderness, he encounters strange and terrifying phenomena that suggest his fiancée’s disappearance was not a simple accident.
Tyler soon discovers that a legendary creature, a Bigfoot-like beast, roams the forest, responsible for Natalie’s disappearance and the deaths of others who have ventured into its territory. With the help of Eli (Todd A. Robinson), a seasoned outdoorsman with knowledge of the creature, and Jackson Wells (Lance Henriksen), a reclusive hunter with a personal vendetta against the beast, Tyler faces a deadly confrontation with the creature in a fight for survival.
