They are accompanied by Professor Steven Cale (Eric Stoltz) and production manager Denise Kalberg (Kari Wuhrer).
During their expedition, the crew rescues a stranded Paraguayan snake hunter named Paul Serone (Jon Voight), who claims to know the whereabouts of the elusive tribe. However, as they venture deeper into the jungle, Serone’s true intentions become clear. Obsessed with capturing a legendary giant anaconda, he manipulates the crew to further his own agenda.
