The Green Knight (2021)
The Green Knight (2021) is a fantasy epic directed by David Lowery, based on the 14th-century Arthurian poem Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. The film stars Dev Patel as Sir Gawain, and features a distinctive, visually stunning approach to the classic tale.
The film follows Sir Gawain (Dev Patel), a young knight of King Arthur’s Round Table, who accepts a challenge from the mysterious Green Knight (Ralph Ineson).
The challenge involves Gawain striking the Green Knight with an axe, with the condition that the Green Knight will return the blow in a year and a day. 
As Gawain embarks on a quest to fulfill his part of the bargain, he encounters various fantastical and morally complex challenges that test his honor, bravery, and identity.
